the Bears far exceeded almost everyone's expectation for this season. Few, if any, believed we would win 12 games and our Division Championship this year. But we did. And we are in a rock-solid position to be much much better. We went from a losing season last year to the NFC title game this season. And all of this with new coordinators, coaches, players and offensive scheme (and one of the worst olines in the NFL).

Upgrading the oline is going to be key to winning a Super Bowl this coming season.

We will be so much better after having this first season under our belt with all of the changes. We can easily upgrade a few positions in the off-season and be a true Super Bowl team. Not just one that gets to the Super Bowl, but a team with the weapons to win it when we get there.

Bears fan take on us nicely highlighted in bold, couldn't help pointing it out...we just beat the bears, but next year they will be better? that's why they are going to have the weapons to go to a superbowl and win it? not just get there? ooooh please!

I think he's saying that their team can be better next year than the one that they have this year, not necessarily that they're going to be better than us.

I still think they have too many holes on offense and an aging defense that are going to make it difficult for them to keep improving year to year and to be a SB caliber team.

Could he be talking about 2006, when the Bears made it to the Super Bowl, but lost?

Either way, the game hasn't been played yet, so we haven't lost anything, but also haven't won anything either.

That said, they may or may not be better next season, but with the talent we have returning next season, we too will be better.

Lang will be healthy in the off-season and can go through the off-season workouts. Bulaga will have another year in the system and can make the move back to his natural position on the left.

Ryan Grant and Jermichael Finley will be back and James Starks will have a full year in the system as well.

Not to mention all the defensive guys we'll have back- Nick Barnett, Mike Neal, Morgan Burnett, Brady Poppinga, along with some others I can't remember right now because they're too many.

Win or lose in two weeks, this has been a damn good season. And win or lose in two weeks, we're set up to be able to go a long way again next year.
