    I like his "fire". Now it needs to rub off on the players which I think it will. At the same time they have to keep their heads screwed on straight.

    i agree completely...this is good...this defense has no soul, no warrior-type, no emotion, we crumble when faced with adversity...bates is a great personality to have coaching your defense

    (in relation to the other thread, we have one of only two defensive coordinators to beat the patriots in a while...)
