Packers general manager Ted Thompson felt certain there was enough talent in the 2008 NFL draft that he traded away the team's first pick and moved into the second round to select Kansas State wide receiver Jordy Nelson. It turned out to be a great move. Of course, tight end Jermichael Finley and guard Josh Sitton were pretty good choices as well.
