    How about allowing 1 applaud/smite vote for each post instead of based on time? That way more people may post.

    Unless it would just lead to alot more useless "bumps" to get more votes.

    I don't get it. I've posted only a few times and someone already smote me, for no real reason that I can tell(!)..LOL.. Oh well, someone applauded me before that, also for no obvious reason, so I guess it evens out.

    Still, it would be nice to know why someone "smites" you, especially if you aren't even arguing about anything. :)

    I expect to get a few more now, just for bringing it up. Oh well..

    Actually, I see what you mean. I read a little bit more into this thread and I can see the smite/applaud thing is just kind of all over the place, that probably even makes it a little more fun. So I'll go back to "relaxed" mode now. ;)
