GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Jay Cutler's debut with the Chicago Bears began with a bumble and kept getting worse.

Cutler nearly fumbled his first snap and started 4 for 10 for 43 yards with an interception, but the Green Bay Packers missed a field goal to keep Sunday night's opener scoreless through the first quarter.

Cutler was traded from Denver in the offseason and is expected to be the franchise quarterback Chicago hasn't had since Sid Luckman. But, he couldn't get the ball cleanly from center Olin Kreutz to start his Bears career and sent his first pass sailing incomplete.

On Cutler's second possession, he completed three straight passes for 38 yards, but then got wild and twice nearly threw interceptions to cornerback Tramon Williams before safety Nick Collins finally picked off a pass intended for Desmond Clark.

But Green Bay couldn't capitalize and Aaron Rodgers, who started 6 of 11 for 61 yards, overthrew Donald Driver behind coverage inside the 5 ..
