ok its only a long snapper but hey its always good if we dont have to go looking for a new one.

"The Packers had a busy weekend.

Besides beating the Bears and signing LB Desmond Bishop to a four-year extension, they also locked up long-snapper Brett Goode to a two-year deal worth about $1.6 million.

The contracts were completed before the deadline for counting money against this year's books, thus saving the Packers some salary cap money if the cap comes back next year.

Goode was scheduled to become a restricted free agent this March and it would have cost the Packers about $1.2 million to maintain their rights to him. Since no long snappers make that much per year, Goode agreed to hammer out a two-year extension worth less."

Can't say I remember there being a bad long snap this year, so I guess it's a good move.

Damn. I need to start practicing ball snapping. 1.6 MI for 2 years?

Its something that looks super easy but is extremely hard.

The last thing I want is to have issues at long snapper and be looking for one. The less I know about him the better.

Start working on it, I bet you could be in the league for 20 years :)

Is there any history of someone being drafted in their 30's?
