Mike Sherman may not be a dynamic personality or a gifted public speaker, but he's a great coach.
What would you like him to do, suit up and play defense?

I think you just solved your own problem - THE TEAM HAS NO TALENT. No coach, no matter how great can coach a talentless team to victory. So stop blaming Sherman.

Indi...

Sherman is NOT a great coach...as a matter of fact..he's a liability..the most impotent bastard on the field...and i'll tell you why...

Until Brett Favre started being Brett Favre...Sherossley was calling runing plays on 3rd and 3 that had no chance in the world at working and almost getting Ahman Green killed...he had no offensive line...no run blocking...down by multiple points..and he's trying to RUN on 3rd down...trying to throw a shovel pass?

That just shows me that these guys have NO ANSWERS..and don't know what the f*** they are doing out there....

LET FAVRE BE FAVRE...will there be interceptions..yes? because no talents like Ferguson won't fight for the ball...will the Pack be one dimensional....?
yes..but it's the only chance they've got....

Sherman has completely f***** this team..and you're calling him great....

unbef***inglievable...

Sherman deserves blame!
Bates deserves blame!
TT deserves blame!
Along with Favre, Fergie, Driver, Clifton, Harris, Longwell on down to Little, Poppinga and Manning....

Why did TT let both Wahle and Rivera go without finding reliable replacements?
Why didn't Bates decide on the starting DBs earlier to give these guys more time in TC to work together?
How many examples of poor clock management do we have to see from Sherman?
What's Favre's TD:INT ratio? Consider that it would be every worse if defenders could catch his fast-ball.
How many balls did Driver drop today?
How many times these season has Fergie allowed the defender to win the ball?
How did Clifton get beat so easily to allow the forced fumble?
Why couldn't Harris cover Smith on his own?
Why did Longwell miss 4 points in our 1 point loss to TB?

Everyone's playing the blame game and for some reason no one seems to realize that the whole team is losing. You lose as a team just the same as winning as a team. This team needs to come together and realize just that!

There's nothing to gain by pointing fingers, but there's everything to gain from coming together working your ***** off as a team!!!

Hey Bobby...."let go" Wahle and Rivera? There is this little inconveniene called the spending cap...something that Mike Sherman the GM had us up against for the last number of years. Wahle WANTED to be somewhere else, and Rivera got a deal that we were not going to match. That is a terrible debate point. All the other stuff...pretty on the spot.

Indi...Sherman is being exposed as a hack. EVERY game he pulls two to three major ****** that contribute mightily to our losses. Last night, he runs a screen to keep the clock running with time winding down. As the casual observer would note, as the announcers did, use the ******* sideline, Mike! How about that last play...you know, THE play that could/would determine the game...with over a minute left, Sherman continues to hurry the offense when he should, as the announcers also noted, huddled up to make sure every player was sure of their responsibilities. Heck, they only needed to get a first, or into field goal range...plenty of time to do it right and he hurries the process.

Beyond that, we are short on talent, and some, if not most, of the talent we do have is not playing up to their potential. Sloppieness and penalties are the only consistent thing on this team...a sure sign of a poorly coached team. Heck, to lose only because you are short on talent is at least tolerable, but to continue to shoot themselves in the foot EVERY WEEK is killing this team.

It's easy to point to Sherman and his lack of quality control.

Stupid penalties!
Not having enough men on the field.
Practices where coaches and players are standing around not on task.
Coaches fumbling through papers at practice(practice plans onthe fly).
Lambeau Homefield advantage GONE!!!
Players not ready to play.
Poor playoff performances
etc. etc. etc.

The Packer teams of the last few years had Super Bowl Talent and they were a flash in the playoffs. " Sherman took physically talented teams and they underachieved to a GOOD level.

Now Sherman has an average team and his lack of coaching ability has the playing at a terrible level.

GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEADS, SHERMAN UNDERACHIES NO MATTER HIS TALENT LEVEL.

Now more than ever the Packers need a difference maker on the sideline, and Sherman ain't got it!

This team should be no worse than .500 at this point or any other point in the season.

Maybe Sherman could concentrate on the little things in practice like keeping penalties under control ( something that has been a problem during his tenure).

Face it folks it's Sherman! He has taken this team into the toilet on his own! He STINK"S

WAKE UP!! HE IS THE PROBLEM HERE!!

For all of you who like to compare Sherman to other coaches, here is a few for you!

Who is the last coach to go 0 and 4?
Who has the worst playoff record of any Packer coach.
What is Sherman's home playoff record?

Nobody expects this team to win the Super Bowl, but some respectability would be nice.

I have watched Packer teams underachieve for 5 years under Sherman. Now he does not have enough talent to bail him out with a regular season record. Sherman alway's showed his lack of talent in the playoffs ( his record indicates that!).

True Packer fans will no longer put up with this clown.

Packer fans do not have to have Super Bowl teams every year, but they do have the right to complain about poorly coached teams, which the Packers have had for 5 years.

Well said, Packman! This guy is incapable of coaching players up and getting them to play smart. When you lack talent, as the Packers do, you have to at least play smart and hard...something sorely missing with this team. I can respect a team that loses playing smart and hard, but, injuries aside, this team is as predictably stoopid as a team gets. Favre is just about the only bright spot on the roster and he is being wasted.

For how many weeks have we seen LBs and safeties stacking the line to negate the run and we don't exploit the vacancy behind the D-line with crossing routes, dumps to RBs or the TEs. The MS philosophy of "doing what we do" is too inflexible to adjust on the fly to what teams show DURING THE GAME, instead of on film.

P.S. Ahman Green, as much as I love what he has done for us the last number of years, is done. He has absolutely no burst left...the eyes see the hole, the legs cannot get him through it, more often than not.

There are 22 other coaches on the team.
I like Sherman and what he has done in the past. we could have done worst, or maybe we could have done better. Would Parcells made a difference?
All I know is there are maybe only two other coaches who currently have long tenures as H.C., Holmgren & Shanahan. Holmgren hasn't won any championships since leaving and Shanny's last was against GB in 98. Thats 7 years for both! A lot of teams that even won championships has had H.C.'s come and go by then.

Sometimes one wonders if a whole shake up is needed to turn things around, even if they have won for the team in the past.

even if Bates became Coach, how many of the staff would remain?

This will be a early & big test for Ted Thompson as GM

Let's see what he decides

We are all mad, but the 4th quarter showed IMHO that we have a chance as a team to do something.

Please Mike Sherman, please let your players play, please show some emotions at the game, please fire Rossley....
