Waiting on Roddy White to get on twitter and start crying like a baby. Just like when we ran it up on them in the playoffs last year, there is absolutely nothing likable about these assholes what so ever.

I hope they get blown out again in the playoffs, and someone runs the score up to 50 something points. hey Mike Smith, if your defense can't stop them STOP COMPLAINING!

Jeeze, I thought the Falcons fans were better than that. They seemed to take their butt whipping by us well last year. Taints just wanted Brees to break the record on a night where the game was shown Nationally.

So, the Falcons are at it again. They've been howling a lot this year. Just a month or so ago there were belly aching about the Lions being dirty players. Come on Falcons, grow a pair and act like men!

Nah, leading up to last year's playoff game, I was slumming around the Atlanta Journal Constitution's site where former Milwaukee Journal Packer beat reporter D. Orlando Ledbetter now works. We were corresponding back and forth leading up to the game and he made something of an interesting observation ... something to the effect that Falcon fans aren't used to winning and therefore don't know how to act...they gloat after a win to the point of being insufferable and are ready to fire the entire organization after a loss...and, if they're losing during a game, the darned stadium will start to empty out...at the time, we were discussing the Falcon organization's need to darn near BEG fans to show up on time...and if you recall, they were really hyping taking the "noise" level to a new inside record - key is that the organization had to actually advertise the need for fans to be there on time...

Of course... every team has their "fire everybody" fans ... Green Bay included...his point was that the "fire everybody" crowd was a groundswell type thing....and it happens frequently...and Atlanta is not a bad team.

Besides, the Saints didn't do it to run the score up, they did it to get Brees a record. A bird of a different color.

The funniest thing is, everyone loves to say that about teams this days.

You ran the score up on me!

I recently watched some old NFL games from 1987-1992, and you would be amazed at how many teams ran the scores up and no one bitched and moaned about it. Probably because back in the old days, no one cared about "You better respect me" it was about WINNING. I recently watched 4 Redskins games from 1991, and you think the Saints and Patriots are bad, you should have seen Mark Rypien still throwing bombs to the endzone to run the scores up to 40 points against teams that done gave up. As Joe Gibbs said before the Super Bowl "If we can score 100 points, why not try", oh and from that same era; The Oilers, Bills, Cowboys, 49ers, and Eagles, were teams that would run it up on you and not give a **** cause they also had that same agenda in mind. I wonder how fans today would re-act to Rypien slingin bombs to Monk and Clark when the score is already 14-42, yeah they'd probably have a cow. Just look at the Bills/Cowboys Super Bowl where Dallas scored 52 points. Marv Levvy didn't complain about it, because he also liked to run the scores up too! (Check the Buffalo blow outs from 1990, they even had 50 points against the Raiders in one game)
