I could not possibly come up with a better line up than that.
Oh yeah! D'oh!I don't know, I probably would have to have Don Hutson at one of the WR spots.
Let's give it a go:
QB - Bart Starr
FB - Jim Taylor
RB - Paul Hornung
WR - Sterling Sharpe
WR - Don Hutson
WR - Donald Driver
TE - Mark Chmura
LT - Forrest Gregg
LG - Fuzzy Thurston
C - Jim Ringo
RG - Jerry Kramer
RT - Bob Skoronski
DE - Willie Wood
DT - Henry Jordan
DT - Gilbert Brown
DE - Reggie White
OLB - Clay Matthews
ILB - Ray Nitschke
OLB - Dave Robinson
CB - Herb Adderley
CB - Charles Woodson
SS - LeRoy Butler
FS - Willie Wood
Coach: Vince Lombardi
OC: Mike Holmgren
DC: Dom Capers
BTW, not sure if there isn't a thread about it already in here, Ivo...
It's them meds.Willie Wood at two positions? Heck of a player to pull that off.:icon_mrgreen:
Looks like a combination of Lombardi, McCarthy, and Holmgren Packers. I'd not mind seeing Shurmer as DC either.
would anyone else do Finley over Chmura?
I don't know about ST players of the past enough.i would put ryan longwell as our kicker. why not bubba franks at TE?
He played only 3 years with us. He's a Chiefs.no love for Jan Stenerud?
BTW, it's only my list. Do people really agree with me that much?
No kickers or punters on that list? I'm sure our friend Green_Bay_Packers would like to see Mason Crosby on it.
Please do not lynch me for this, but seriously, no Favre? I love Bart Starr and Aaron Rodgers like everyone else here, but lets be real, while in a Packers uniform, to us Packers fans, he practically walked on water.
No he isn't, not by a long shot. The bolded part is why you think he is, but he isn't.Please do not lynch me for this, but seriously, no Favre? I love Bart Starr and Aaron Rodgers like everyone else here, but lets be real, while in a Packers uniform, to us Packers fans, he practically walked on water. I was five years old in 1992 when he started in Green Bay and there was no other player that I cared about more than Favre. I hate the garbage he has done with his post-Packers career, but he is THE BEST quarterback in Packers history. For that, he deserves to be on that list.
Let the bashing begin. :blackeye:
No. Chmura it is.:chisux:
BTW, it's only my list. Do people really agree with me that much? I don't see any other list in there...
