An excuse to lose? Let's see how good your team is with 13 players, including 6 starters, lost for the season and on IR. I'm surprised we're still even in it at this point, regardless of how we do against you this weekend.

A lot of opposing fans go to opponents message boards to get the latest information on the teams they are playing because its a good repository of information and they can talk about the game - getting the opposing team's fans perspective on the game. If someone has taken the time to become a member of a message board like this then they are probably pretty knowledgable about their team so its a good place to find info if you're an opposing fan. If you see that as being the same as trash talking then so be it.

Football is a competitive game but you're not playing in it. The only competitive thing you'll be doing Sunday night is eating.

I agree with you on the Lions. The Bears being 3-10 and the Lions being 9-4 makes far more sense than the current situation, given the talent on each team. Paying off referees really helps that W column I guess.
