Quarterback TOM BRADY of the New England Patriots and running back AHMAN GREEN of the Green Bay Packers are the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week for games played on October 29-30, the NFL announced Thursday.

Brady completed 29 of 43 passes for 372 yards and four touchdowns in the Patriots' 31-7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. He completed passes to 10 different receivers and connected on touchdown passes of six, seven, nine and 10 yards, each to a different player.

Green rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries in the Packers' 31-14 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. He scored on second-quarter touchdown runs of two and four yards.

Brady and Green were selected from among finalists in air and ground categories through 94,576 fan votes on NFL.com and via Sprint wireless service. The other FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week finalists were quarterbacks PEYTON MANNING of the Indianapolis Colts and MICHAEL VICK of the Atlanta Falcons, while running backs LARRY JOHNSON of the Kansas City Chiefs and LA DAINIAN TOMLINSON of the San Diego Charger were the other finalists for the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week.

Brady received 46 percent of the fan votes for FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week, while Manning received 32 percent and Vick received 22 percent. Green's 52 percent of the fan votes for FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week beat out Tomlinson's 37 percent and Johnson's 11 percent.

Fans voted for more than their favorite players. The weekly FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Awards are also a win for the local community. Along with the player awards, FedEx is awarding Boston Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, the children's hospitals in the winning players' markets, a check for $5,000.

The children's hospitals in the two season-long winner's markets, announced at Super Bowl XLI in South Florida, will be awarded $25,000 each. That means that FedEx will deliver nearly $250,000 to local children's hospitals around the country in recognition of the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Award winners.

FedEx, the premier global provider of transportation, e-commerce and supply-chain management services, is the Official Delivery Service Sponsor of the NFL, Super Bowl and Pro Bowl. Through the weekly FedEx Air and Ground awards, FedEx recognizes those NFL players who represent the same speed, precision and teamwork that their customers have come to expect from the full range of FedEx air, ground, freight and international shipping services.

Kinda surprising since Larry Johnson had 39 carries for over 150 yards. Good job for Ahman anyway.

Johnson only averaged like 4.9 yards a carry where Green averaged 7 yards a carry. Green is coming back from an injury and is running behind a line many thought would fail but havent. If anyone would win it Would have been LT he averaged around 9 yards a carry and had the most yards out of all of them.

Green carried the ball 21 times for 106 yards, yes? That's 5 yards per carry right on the nose(well 105 would be right on the nose, but whatever).
