For some reason, I initially thought it was a little strange for ProFootballTalk.com to run this little piece on Anthony Shadid: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/02/17/anthony-shadid-was-a-packers-fan-to-the-end/
Anthony was a colleague of mine at The Daily Cardinal at UW-Madison. I had no idea he was a Packers fan back then.
On second thought, the story should make perfect sense to most everyone on the forum; it's a good illustration of how the allure of the Packers can transcend most anything. RIP Anthony.

Considering Florio has an anti-Packers bias, I too was surprised to see that story featured on PFT. All in all a great write up, and shows the genuine love fans have for their team. Not sure many teams can say that.
