    I've asked this question in many forums and have never receieved an answer.

    Are the Packers the only 6th seed to be favored to win the SB?

    There have been other wild card teams to win the SB, but never favored.correct?

    I believe Packers were the first 6th seed favorites.

    the packers were only the 2nd #6 seed to get to the super bowl, the first in the NFC, the 1st being the steelers in super bowl xl. in that game the seahawks were favored.

    so yes, the Packers are the only 6th seed to be favored to win the super bowl.
