For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about the Bobby Lane Curse, and how this last season was the 50th season of the curse.

Still don't know what I'm talking about? Click here.

It just so happens that their 50th year was a winless one, and so now they have the chance to finally receive the Lombardi Trophy.

My question to all of you is: Do you think they'll do it?

In my opinion, it sure doesn't look like it, but still think the idea of them beating the curse would be cool.

I think they'll win 3 to 5 games. No more, no less. They'll be better, but it was impossible to get worse, so that isn't saying much.

    Superbowl for sure.... HA!

Like Jess said, couple wins, nothing more than that and maybe fire their coach again...

It is one of those situations where you have no where to go but up... literally.

But you got to admit, the idea of them going all the way...

I would seriously reconsider my skepticism.

It'd be so awesome... except for the Packers losing part.

The curse will continue as long as William Clay Ford Sr. is the owner. That being said, LET THE MAN WORK! If only there was a way to clone him, and have the clones control the Vikings and the Bears, they wouldn't win superbowls! Oh wait...

Yeah, true, there is that speculation too.

Ahhh, Minnesota, Land of a thousand lakes and zero Lombardi trophies. Classic.

They'll improve, possibly a 5 to 7 games win season, They could return to the playoffs in the near future if they can put their team together.

    Ha.

    I got a better idea: a Packers Anti-curse.

(Horseshoe up the *** should do just fine)

They are not good but they were not 0-16 bad either.
The ball bounced the other way on more than a couple of occasions last year for them to go the whole season without a win.
It was a bad team with bad luck and they came close to winning several games last year.
I saw the 0-14 Bucs and that team sucked far more than the Lions did last year.

I say they go 5-11 if their new QB plays well.

I still think it'd be cool if they went all the way.

It would be cool, but I seriously doubt it, I agree with Phil 3-6 wins this year depending on the QB situation.

    Yeah, I agree.

It'd be sweet, but I just can't see that kind of recovery happening.

£10000 says they wont win the superbowl
£1000 says they wont make the playoffs

    They wont do anything brilliant.
    maybe 2 wins

OKay acanofpan, explain the Cub's curse.

They've had many chances to win the major league champions, but one thing or another (for example, stupid fans) get in the way.

Now, I agree that there is no substantial evidence to curses, and we should never rely on them. But they sure are fun to reinforce!
