Jones is better, which is why we locked him up 16 vote(s) 51.6%
Jordy is better, as evidenced by the great Super Bowl, minus the 2 or 3 drops 15 vote(s) 48.4%

I will grant #2 to Donald Driver still at this point.

Regardless, who is better, Jordy Nelson or James Jones?
So far, it's been fairly even. Jones has done more, but Jordy came up big in the Super Bowl, although Jordy had his share of drops in that game.
So did Jones of course with the dropped Super Bowl.

Overall, who do you think IS BETTER?

I dont think its a lock that DD is a #2.

I think Jones has more talent but Jordy is more consistent. I know that doesnt answer your question, but I dont know the answer myself.

Oh yeah, and Jordy is more consistent. Jones just needs to focus.

    Personally I like
    1) GJ
    2) JJ

as our two deep threat guys

    and

have DD and JN play more slot and motion stuff....

BUT TT & MM know best

hope for an injury free August everyone

The packers move WR's all over the place on every play with multiple combos of guys on the field at the same time. Everyone knows Jennings is number 1 and everyone behind him is in no particular order.

I for one hope Randall Cobb steps up and shows something. I know he's only a rookie but he's a very dynamic player.

On 3rd and 1 Jordy Nelson scores the first TD for the Pack in the Super Bowl.
I honestly don't see anything to complain about dropped passes when the Pack won the SB thanx to that catch made by Nelson.
Otherwise it would have been 25-24 with Steelers winning.
And those guys helped out along the way as well.
I can overlook their dropped passes since they have redeemed themselves when needed.

    1. Jennings 2. Jones 3. Driver 4. Nelson Jones runs routes way better than Nelson could even hope to, if he gets rid of the easy drops and occasional fumble he is an elite WR.

Jones has more overall talent, but seems Jordy works harder to make the play.

This, although Jordy and Jones are interchangeable really. Driver is well past his peak and at this point he's really only a role player. An important one, of course. But people really seem to overlook all the drops that Driver makes while vilifying Jordy and Jones for the same mistakes.

This is like asking what came first, the egg or the chicken.

This same question has been on for what will be the 4th year now, and still there are people undecided.

All I can say is, they're different. I like Jones better lined up wide, he's a better deep threat, but I like Jordy better lined up in the slot and in running plays, as he's a better blocker.

    So, there you have it.

As long as you include Finley in your Big 5 formations.

Jones should definitely be the #2, hes much more of a deep threat and has huge upside.
If Cobb is given some chances and has a great start I could see him passing DD for the 4th spot.

    2 Jordy Nelson
    3 James Jones
    4 Randall Cobb

I see jordy as a better deep threat, and better in the red zone than james jones. While jones might be slightly more athletic, Jordy is taller, and has great route running and body positioning with good speed and hands, not to mention he seems to be more clutch than jones. However I see both of them getting a lot of catches, and DD will likely still line up in the #1 and #2 spots he will most likely play far less snaps this season.

And September, October, November, December, and January!

Let someone else have 15 guys go on IR this year.
I nominate Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, or New Orleans.

Who said Jordy isn't a good route runner? wtf? he is very consistent.
Jones could be as good as Jennings.. BUT and it is a huge 'but', he must get rid of those drops. His big play potential is just that, potential, and unless it is realized, it is worthless. Hell, I'm a potential BILLIONAIRE...
