Saw this on another forum thought it was a cool idea. If you could pick 3 guys to start a team with who would it be?

    I'd take:

    Rodgers
    CM3
    Suh

    Aaron Rodgers
    Jake Long/Joe Thomas (coin flip)
    Ndamakong Suh

Edge to Joe Thomas since he has the same name as me :)

I'd probably take Aaron, but in the interest of being different since everyone's going to take him, I'll go elsewhere...

    Tom Brady (veteran leadership)
    Patrick Willis
    Darrelle Revis

Yeah, I thought it sounded like a neat idea for a thread.

I was amazed with how many "General" football fans said that they'd take Rodgers 1st.

    I like this logic!

Because I'm partial to Packers players, I'm gonna make my pics from in the house:

    Aaron Rodgers
    Clay Matthews
    Ted Thompson

I think Aaron and Clay could lead the offense and defense respectively, the army will be build around them.

As for T.T., I don't underestimate the importance of having a great owner who is competent to make decisions and draft choices. Also, he does not bow to pressure to make a move he knows is not going to work out in the long run.

These guys would be the foundation of my army.

Sounds like a prelude to fantasy football a little bit! :)

@Chipper, what the hell u doin hangin on an Eagles forum!? Wingheads? U crazy bro! Eagles fans will cause irreparable damage to your cerebral functioning. They'll ruin you mind! Cease and desist before it's too late!

    That's easy.

Rodgers, the best young offensive player in the league, and a QB
Clay Matthews III, the best young defensive player in the league, and a pass rusher
Joe Thomas, the best young offensive tackle in the league.

That's 3 of the BIG 4 positions, and in the order of importance. QB, pass rusher, Offensive tackle, cornerback. Those are the most important positions in football.

If I could choose a #4, I'd go Darrelle Revis, Nmandi Asomugah or Tramon Williams.

And, yes, GB is, indeed, loaded with talent in all the right places. We have almost all the pieces to be a dynasty. All that's left is for Bulaga to turn out into an elite OT.
