I'll probably see if this Ponder guy is any threat to us in Minnesota, if I do watch highlights tonight.

And I think you're right with your other post, I think Carimi was absolutely the pick if he was there. Damn Bears. At least then I could get excited about the home state connection.

Not overly excited about this pick, doubt TT was either as he waited the entire time, probably hoping for a trade offer with someone wanting Bowers. It's not a bad pick but not a great one either, he will play a part in the future but will never be that amazing lineman we all wanted just a solid OT.

This was a very good value pick for the Packers. Even though they won the Super Bowl there were things that needed to be addressed and OT was one of those positions. Only one year removed from the OL nightmare none of us want to see that happen again. I would like to see a CB, WR, KR, DE, LB. Also, we still have a lot of picks left and who knows how many other guys like James Starks or Josh Sitton Ted & Mike will come up with yet!

He is going to do the same thing as Bulaga. He is going to be 2nd on the depth chart and will wait his turn until some one gets hurt or does not preform well. He might have a shot at left guard but i doubt it

BTW, he hasn't given up a sack since his sophomore year...

I'm gradually warming to this. I'm coming around on it. And if we address OLB early tomorrow then I'll be totally happy with this pick.

He does his job to protect, then he's every bit worth a first round pick and yes all mocks I've seen had him going in mid-late 20s so he was a "steal".

I hope this is not your thoughts on what our O-line should be.
