Has anyone else noticed that we could've gone to the playoffs last year with a 7-9 record if we beat the Vikings which we lost by only 1 point. 28-27.. One point away from making the playoffs that year.

We wouldn't have made the playoffs under those circumstances. The Bears would have won the division based on a better division record.

And the Eagles still would have clinched the last wild card spot with a 9-6-1 record.

The Bears were 4-2 in the division, 9-7 overall. If we had beaten the Vikings we would have been 7-9, but the Vikings would have been 9-7 with a division record of 3-3. Bears would have won the division and the Eagles would still have gotten the wild card spot with 9-6-1.
