I'll be the first one to say Favre was one of the greats, hell I liked him when most of you were complaining about his passing decisions his first year with the Pack.

Either way he is past his prime and needs to retire period.

I would rather have Grossman and Griese as #1 and #2 then Favre and Rogers....

I hate to bring it up again Einstein but when you use 'your' in that context, it makes you look pretty stupid, especially when you've been taught that lesson earlier. I know, I know, the grammar police....

Oh, and by the way, I can hang with football knowledge. Maybe we should try to direct our conversation back to that because this is making me laugh too hard. My side is starting to hurt from all this laughter at your stupidity.

I'd admit Grossman is a good quarterbackbut he's like Daunte Culpepper, talent is there but he doesn't know how to use it

I know PackerLegend. I guess you just might say that I have a soft spot for the weak and that's why I try to educate Bear fans whenever I get the chance.

Besides, proper usage of 'you are' may prove difficult for some. I mean, think about the possibilities - it could be you are, you're, or even your. How's a Bear fan supposed to know?

Actually, I'd like to take back part of the previous post. Some Bear fans are very educated. 4thand26 is decent as is Phil...I don't jthill speaks for them when he spews garbage out of his mouth.

I'll admit that Grossman is talented. I'll also admit that he's extremely fragile. The Bears made a wise move in picking up Griese this off-season because I don't think the immobile Orton is the answer either.

There you go, jthill. Just to prove to you that I can talk some football after I've grown a little tired and bored of making fun at your expense.

the point is we all look stupid saying Pack is better then bears and bears are better then Pack we just have to wait because somtimes talent isn't there (which isn't the case for either teams) or they dont play to there fullest, or somtimes weather or outside life can effect a persons game, upsets happen IMO the packers are better but the bears are could. apparently jthill see's it another way and other people have there opinions to.

OK, I won't bring up your latest grammatical error but it has to do with question mark usage. Listen, though. Seriously, you come on a Packers board, start a thread like this one with your initial post, and then turn defensive when some Packer fans come here to defend their team ON A PACKERS FORUM!?! You had to expect a little bit of that, didn't you? Anyway, let's talk football from here on out and wait and see what team emerges. Is that a deal?

Agreed, either way it will be a great game come September 10. I will admit its going to be a tough game, the season opener in GB, but I do think the Bears have the talent to win.

It is the same thing over and over, we have to wait tell the game is played, what ever team someone is backing appears to be the team that they pick to win, hell if we knew who was gonna win then why play?

So Im Gonna Have To Say It Is A Toss Up.

Exactly Legend...that's why I think the Packers are going to go 16-0 every year! OK, just kidding on that one.

Now you're talking man...nothing personal. You see, this is part of the reason the Bears-Packers rivalry is one of the best in all of sports in my opinion. I like the Pack just the same way you do the Bears, I can respect that.

Oh, and I take the "rubber" comment back. It was tacky and it shouldn't have been posted. Again, and like you say, "all in good fun".

    GO PACKERS!

I'll give my idea on this game (my guess maybe not in the right quarter but its just my opinion)

    1st quarter
    ------------
Ahman Green run GB 7 CH 0
Brett Favre pass GB 14 CH 0

    2nd Quarter
    --------------
Rex Grossman pass GB 14 CH 7
Thomas Jones run GB 14 CH 14

    3rd quarter
    -------------
Brett Favre pass GB 21 CH 14
short Ahman Green run GB 28 CH 14
Grossman pass GB 28 CH 21

    4th quarter
    ------------
Billy Cundiff FG GB 31 CH 21

Im not bashing what you said, but a team can have all the talent in the world but if they dont come together and really have everyone on the same page, well i think they may be alot of sundays fans are let down

I guess my hopes for the O are fairly high. I feel the D and ST work well as a unit. Time will tell and preseason is almost here!

It always is a toss up, no matter who is the better team on paper.
