Cdnfavrefan, there are many ways to disgrace a tv program, that however was one of the worst.

In defense of CSI, they view ALL scenarios possible. Something the disgrace does not care to disclose in their posts.

Yep, way to insult instead of argue Zero, could you please put together the OTHER side of the scenario for me?

I'm sorry but there is more evidence that TT is rebuilding than trying to field a contender for a playoff run.
How does any of that mean, "Hey Brett, i want you outta here"

Hes making decisions based on the Green Bay Packers. Not Brett Favre.

He wants Brett to play until he is 49 years old if he still can do it. But he isnt. and TT isnt going to make his ultimate Franchise decisions based on a guy who is gonna play one more year max. Thats silly and would ultimately hurt the Green Bay Packers for years to come.

So the decisions hes making might not be ideal for a fiscally damaging futile attempt at a playoff run. but they sure do make us better for the long haul.

Well I wouldn't go so far as to use the word SURE. It remains to be seen if these moves will prove prosperous or a complete waste of present and future seasons

Oh so TT's just not concentating on winning anytime soon. I see now.

So why tell Brett he is not rebuilding?

So how do you know what TT told Brett? I believe Brett knew what he was getting into.

Ted has made the 'other' side difficult but when I get home from work (which is where I am scrambling to reply here before getting caught) I will try to do that. keyword ---- try lol

Good post and he did. You can see the difference in Favre's press conferences to this year and last year. Favre understands this team is rebuilding and he came back to help the Green Bay Packers in the best way he can.

Rebuilding has such an ugly sound to it. id prefer we call what TT is doing "reloading".

its much faster than rebuilding and it is absolutely necessary. and TT is concentrating on winning ASAP. just understands we had no chance with the Sherman built teams. so he had to Stop. Reload. Then go back at it as soon as he could.

To reload you need ammunition. TT has done nothing in the way of bringing in any ammunition for this team to be successful. That would mean signing some talented FAs and not castoffs waived from other teams. "Reloading" would have included resigning Wahle and doing *something* to improve the mess we call Special Teams.

He is cutting most of the experienced veterans we have and replacing them with rookies, or no one at all (eg. Davenport, Walker, etc.). He is banking the future of the franchise on unproven draftees who will take on average 2 to 3 seasons to demonstrate they have the potential to become solid starters. That is rebuilding in its purest form.
