We need a T in the first round, an RB in the second round would be nice, and then we should either trade up for a CB/S in the second or third round. I think Tramon is going to step up once he quits grabbing arms, but we still need some backup to the secondary. No one is comfortable with Bush in there.

Of course we NEED a Tackle, but there probably won't be a Tackle worthy enough of a 1st round pick. That's when we start to look at other needs like a consistent running back or Corner Back. If Jahvid Best is still in the 1st round when it gets to us we should get him, but CJ Spiller could be great too. This Draft is loaded with talent. Packers need to take advantage of this great opportunity for a few good starters for the future.

I don't see any really great OL in this draft. I see some very good ones, but not any great ones.
If I would move up, it would be to get Suh or Berry. Those two are the two clear best players in the draft, by miles.

A caller on the radio today suggested that this offseason we deal our #1 pick and Kampman to St. Louis for Steven Jackson (who will supposedly be shopped, according to him).
I'd support that.

| That would be interesting, but that should have gotten done before the trade deadline when he was healthy. We all knew Kampman wasn't a good fit for our defensive scheme. Now Kampman is hurt and the Rams might not do the deal because of that. Maybe it will be fine in the off-season and Kampman checks out fine in physicals.
I wonder if there would be any team interested in giving up there 1st rounder for Kampman and a 2nd or something like that.

| Yeah, the guy meant to do the deal this coming offseason. Sorry for not being specific enough. Lol.

Well yeah, not saying he didn't, but the ideal time for dealing Kampman already passed. We'll just have to cross our fingers that Kampman will be alright and healthy enough for teams to seriously want.

If I were the Rams I would take that deal even with an injured Kampman. Jackson is getting up there in age (28 years) so I am not sure he is worth a # 1 pick.
At that point I would rather see the Pack get a running back in the first round. I still say we need O-line man, thats what we should go after in free agency and the draft.
