He may be the greatest Quarterback in New York Giants history. he may continue to develop into a friggin monster and prove to be amazing down the field.
but im not going to say hes the greatest quarterback in the NFL right now. I think hes top 3.
That kid is too fresh off the game. The Giants forced some things in this game too. if you beat yourselves its a measure of your team.
If the giants lost i could say that Eli could have been more clutch in the 4th, and he didnt bring it. but in the end the team who walked away with the win...
I said this in the other thread...
if the packers had slightly better hands today im not sure the giants walk away with this win. talk about those bad calls by the refs all you want giants fan, we won anyway. The Giants are not a bad team, their defense is to be respected and Eli continues...
If you guys had better hands we very likely would not have walked away with this win.
I don't know if its appropriate to mention this, but if philbin situation had not happened i wonder if things would also have been different.
I talk trash heavily on teams boards. the civility of this...
This is just tragic. My thoughts are with the family. when our local sportscaster Mike Francesca broke what little information was trickling out, i just hung my head. I can't imagine what this is like for the Philbin family.
I am not a fan of JPP's statement. trash talking is fun but Giants play best when they are not cocky, backs against the wall. I love JPP and i hope he backs that up... but i prefer coughlins approach to bragging.
