    Why Draft Grades/Analysis Doesn't Matter

I've long felt grading a draft right after it happened is just moronic. You need at least three years before assigning draft grades, however idiots still read them, so the media wonks have to do them.

why should I feel any different about our defense?

Dude, are you ever positive or happy? Every friggin post of yours is this depressing, woe is me, our front office sucks, our team sucks, we're not gonna do anything right nonsense. Might be time for a vacation.

    Packers select HAHA

This post needs an **** button.

    What do you think?

Right. I doubt they spend a ton of resources on monitoring forums like these, but it wouldn't surprise me if they had an intern or some low-level office person check in every so often.

    What do you think?

In that example you provide, it's certainly possible. Having someone browse the forums, and possibly interact with fans to see the fan sentiment on certain topics is a cheap and easy way of keeping engaged and monitoring what fans are saying about your franchise.

    What do you think?

LOL, no, and I hope they never do, as most fans have no idea what the hell they're talking about.

The Packers will go the SB if?

The Packers will go to the Super Bowl if we win enough games in the regular season to make the playoffs, win enough games in the playoffs to advance to the NFC Championship game, and then win the NFC Championship game. Only then will the Packers go to the Super Bowl. Hope this helps.

What would you consider a success in 2014?

Yet another thread that could use a **** button... As a fan, of course I want the Packers to win the Super Bowl every year, but expecting a Super Bowl win every season is just unrealistic. To me, I think winning the division, or at the very least making the playoffs, is the mark of a successful...

Serious inquiry: Can anyone name a big name "splash" free agent pickup who was worth it?

He wasn't exactly considered a top tier free agent when he signed either. He had what was considered by many to be a devastating shoulder injury, and only two teams showed any kind of interest- The Saints and Dolphins. The Dolphins wound up backing out because the risk was thought to be too...

Serious inquiry: Can anyone name a big name "splash" free agent pickup who was worth it?

Woodson wasn't a big splash when he was signed. He literally got no other offers. Yes he worked out well, but he wasn't a day one, week one free agent. He was considered bottom of the barrell at the time.

What do you guys think the odds are that we let Shields go in FA AND don't sign a big name FA?

    Ahem: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/08/sam-shields-packers-agree-on-four-year-39-million-deal/

    Jairus Bryd

This is a bit of a contradiction, but I agree in principle with the point being made: A good, solid pass rush will upgrade any and every secondary. That's where I'd start with this defense.
