Sorry but Rodgers never had enough time AT ALL to throw any deep balls (The one he did was on a roll out to create a bit more time for himself.. His only shot was short slant, short curl or nothing. I personally would have tried some screens to keep their pressure honest.
Rodgers didn't hold onto the ball too long unless you guys saw better angles down the field then I did. You can't just randomly throw the ball into coverage. He was getting pressure on him way too quick before the WR had finished their routes. That's all there is to it.
If not for Rodgers...
Last year we had 3-4 against Dallas. Much similar Favre got a threw balls off right before he got nailed which ended up in picks. Rodgers got sacked and rushed as well. Both games the QB's were under IMMENSE pressure.
Well as you know last year we were a really tough team to run on. BUT it seems with the loss of Williams and some question marsk at DT things might be turning the other way. Jolly facing jail time/injuries and Harrell also injured.
I'm not sure how serious these injuries are but lets hope they...
Lets just say I'm optimistic. I think if Detroit,Minny,Chicago fans seen a great year like 20+ TD's...They'd cry. For obvious reasons. They just had to endure 17 years of one dominating QB. The hint of another good-great QB would be demoralizing lol
Though I'm very sad to see favre go. I'm excited to see Rodgers play. At this point he has pretty good mobility and I think he can make some nice plays out of the pocket.

2 good videos showing some of the crazy plays Favre did over the years.
Ugh I'm taking it pretty hard tonight. Watching old clips and highlights from him. It's tough as he says I find this really tough.

That's the point of having a guy like that. What do you think makes Brady (this year) and Peyton Manning so good. Having the fall back of having Elite receivers to air it out to when problems occur. Brett Favre never really had that luxury in his whole career after Sterling Sharpe.. Unfortunately.
