I have to say - I'd take a 75% committed Brett Favre over many of the QBs in the league today. How many players at any position can truly say they are 100% committed these days? Much less feel they can't play unless they are?

My take is that calling every couple weeks, while understandable from MM point of view, is not the routine he had seen previously. Could easily be taken as "We really need/want a decision even though we aren't giving a deadline" and could easily be viewed as "pressuring."

Packers release Aaron Rodgers and bring Favre back. They start grooming Brohm and Flynn. Rodgers ends up in Baltimore or TB or NYJ with a starting job. Favre takes the Packers to the SB and we do it all again next March.
