Ryan Pickett- was solid last year, even better this year. Key to our run defense. We saw what happened when he was out against Chicago.
Ruvell Martin- Proven he can make plays when he gets the ball. Should keep improving over time.
Koren Robinson- Didn't expect him to contribute as fast...
Anyone know the extent of Blackmon's foot injury? He was carted to the locker room. This guy is a key part of our special teams unit and was getting more and more opportunities as the nickel back. Hopefully he'll be ok for the playoff game in 2 weeks.
Just thought about this. Jennings gave the ball to a fan in the stands after he scored. Favre was only 1 yard away from breaking the record after the TD catch. Imagine if the play was 1 or 2 yards longer, that fan who got the ball would have had a piece of history.
I agree. Blackmon is the guy we haven't had in a long time... The only time I'd like to see Woodson back there is if we need a fair catch. He is great at catching the ball. McCarthy wants to have someone back there he knows won't muff a punt in a key situation.
The refs didnt cost the Browns the game. The refs missed a call on Edwards TD. He caught the ball and was contacted in mid-air so when he went to the ground he should have ruled down by contact. Instead, Edwards got up, and ran 35 yards or so and scored. Arizona challenged it, yet the refs still...
That's just to clinch a playoff spot.
All we've gotta do to clinch the division is to win OR have Dallas beat Detroit.
Both seem likely to happen. Detroit is done.
Even if I Boston wins tonite, I'm getting the impression that the game will start at 8:00 ET. All the websites you go to, has the game at 8:00. Anyone no if it is set in stone for the game to start at 8:00?
Could the conditions ( raining/ wet ball) had any effect? We saw Redskins receivers dropping a lot of passes, the conditions played a role in that. Crosby missed two kicks and fell on a kickoff... Let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet.
I'm on the complete opposite side of the spectrum on this one... I'd much rather get killed by 35 than get beat by 7. A loss is a loss. Saying you were the better team but lost, doesn't mean jack in the end. It's still a loss.
