This is exactly my thinking. It disgusts me. If this move comes to pass, it will let Packers fans know exactly where they stand. Brett's ego will know no bounds, and I will have made a complete turn on my feelings about #4.:mad:

I know we're dealing with the cast-offs, so why not Scott Player? At least he was a pro-bowler. There just isn't gonna be anything all that great out there...Mind as well go with someone who was at least solid at one point. What's the story with Player? Is he really totally washed up? Any news?

Brad Johnson seems like a really good fit. He seems like a solid vet mentor for Rodgers. If we're going to bring someone in to hold the clip-board, he should be someone that can benefit Rodgers progression. Just my two pennies.
