http://sports.yahoo.com/news/detroit-lions-break-10-thanksgiving-day-drought-beat-232200452--nfl.html It does not take much to see that if the Lions are dirty, the Packers are just as guilty...except the penalties such as kicking the Lion player or pushing a ref are simple misunderstandings.
Kinda amusing that the Lions are considered scumbags when up until the game, the Packers and Lions had the same amount of personal fouls. Then here comes Tramon Williams... pushing refs and kicking at a Lions player...
Yes, no doubt the Lions played crappy against the backup Flynn (embarrassing)! But they were still robbed from victory. Even Mike and Mike on espn agreed that the Packers Lions officiating last year was way worse than the Packers Seahawks officiating.
Dear NFL owners,
There has been a lot of commotion regarding the Packers/Seahawks game lately. Whatever bad call that may have happened in this game does not even compare to the multiple bad calls against the Lions last year in Lambeau field and that was by your regular refs. I really don't...
I understand as a Lions Fan what it takes to lose games due to bad play and to the officials. (Just look at last years game between the Lions and the Packers at Lambeau). Its a game we should have won, but we played crappy and we got hosed by the officials multiple times. Muffed punt...
Technically, yes. But it would still be satisfying to know that any game that they played in, they didn't lose. (Sure would be nice to have Sanders back. He was a blast to watch)
No thanks to the rematch. I hope the lions can forfeit the rest of the season just to say they didn't lose a game. Sorry, I will be more respectful next time and post in the correct forum.
You are absolutely right. Honestly, I never expect anything out of the Lions. Not even sure why I listen to or watch them. Used to be a big fan, but there were too many disappointments. Just trying to get a rise out of you diehards. Gotta admit though, its a funny picture.
