Would a 4-3 really require that much retooling?

Mathews plays coverage quite a bit, and well when given the opportunity. Hawk played MLB before we switched to the 3-4, along with playing it in College (and main reason he was a top-5 pick), he would be fine there.

    Throwback unis for 2012?

I know why the '29 Uniform was used, doesn't mean it was any less ugly. I kinda suspected that the Badger uni was a throwback, but it did look slick. as for alternate uni, I think if it was the "right" one or just a alternate color scheme it would be fine. I would love a "reverse" one, Gold...

    Throwback unis for 2012?

I hated them personally...fugly...I like the idea of throwbacks, but I think a true alternate jersey scheme would be fantastic, even if it was just alternate colors or something. Maybe something akin to what the Badgers wore yesterday (style wise)

    Playboy's predictions

4-0 Texan's are the real deal IMHO. Hell the only reason they didn't put up much of a fight in the playoffs last year was due to Shaub getting hurt. IF he stays healthy all season, they have a damn good chance...though the way the Pats played today...it's going to make the AFC more interesting...

Doesn't make me any happier but my Sunday Ticket is now free.

yes and no, The NFL could have, and should have done a better job picking their replacement refs, I would have made sure not to get anyone that had been fired for crappy officiating, particularly something as off the wall as the LFL

Doesn't make me any happier but my Sunday Ticket is now free.

then why bother hiring him? Makes the NFL look even more foolish...hell the Lingerie Football League has higher standards than these guys

Does anyone else feel this way?

Actually, no, I haven't been able to watch any game this season due to work. But from every thing I've read and heard, Rodgers is NOT playing up to par since prior to the KC game, hell probably go back to the 1st Giants game last year to see it. I'm not saying he hasn't been good, but he...

    Is football the new baseball?

not really, but a shorter season, starting around June 1st, with games spread out more would not only make the season more interesting, but put less wear and tear on the players, particularly pitchers. 182 games is a LOT. It would also bring back more of the popularity to the sport as there...

Does anyone else feel this way?

As I said in the other thread, Finely gets way to much hate directed his way for a guy that does produce, even if he can and should produce more, he's still up there as an top 10 TE. While Rodger gets a pass for not playing very well the last couple weeks and the playoff game. Both need to step...

    Finley's agent rips Rodgers

yeah, gotcha. Finely has been better than them when healthy, even when coming off major injury he was better. He does need to be better about catching the ball.

    Is football the new baseball?

Cut baseball season down to 90 games a season, make them more meaningful and expand the time between games, and baseball will probably be a better sport.

    Finley's agent rips Rodgers

http://www.nfl.com/player/bubbafranks/2504255/profile http://www.nfl.com/player/jermichaelfinley/1072/careerstats Franks only had better TD's, Favre only targeted him in the Redzone, Rodgers targets Finely anywhere. I'll take Finely over Franks any day

    Finley's agent rips Rodgers

He should get some slack, as should the offense as a whole...but I think too many people are unfairly critical of Finely cuz of some crazy idea that he's a "cancer" on the team. Yes he needs to pick up his game, and quit with the drops, but he's a damn good TE, probably the best we've had since...

    Finley's agent rips Rodgers

Ironic that everyone jumps on Finely for something that he doesn't have any control over, but doesn't get on Rodgers for not being as good as he has been since prior to the KC game last year. Even the guys on the radio have noticed he hasn't been as good, something he does have control of.
