I'm sure there will be some veterans cut before the end of training camp if need be. What I am concerned with his the health of Jolly and his legal stuff. Does anyone have an update on that?
Everyone thinks the safety battle is going to be intense, but RB will be a huge battle. I like Noah's heart, but he has to be on the outside looking in. I would say it's going to be Grant, Jackson, and Wynn.
Grant better get his but in there soon, because he may just lose his starting...
I told all my Viking buddies that we still had the best quarterback in the division the same Favre retired. I saw what i needed to see in the Dallas game last year. We were dead to rights when Aaron entered the game, and we damn near won it.
I do wish we were playing the Bears in game one...
It seems we have 3 safeties who all seem to need playing time. Please post you starting safeties and why.
Aaron Rouse - FS - he's a natural ball hawk and anticipates (sees plays) very well. Being very long also helps him in passing lanes.
Nick Collins - SS - has been playing out of...
I'll take this a step further, if the coaches feel Babre is as good as Colledge right now, then the change should be made. Colledge could then platoon some with Clifton as his eventual replacement. I thought Colledge did a good job last year in spot duty at left tackle. Clifton has been a...
3 things
1. Did anyone stop the Giants pass rush, Since69?
2. Why do a lot of us still have doubts about our O-line?
3. Was strength of competition factored into the rankings?
We don't need to bash you Nodak, being a Viking fan is punishment enough. Admitting your Vikings fan and sticking by them, well, I admire that. I didn't say envied, I said admired. Good luck this year, and hopefully you go 4 and 2 in the division.
I've said this before, but I think Jennings is TT's signing priority. Greg is a budding superstar, and I'm sorry, but I just don't see that with Grant. I think that awesome game he had against Seattle had a lot more to do with those pansies from the Pacific northwest playing in a snowstorm...
Who knows Lare, maybe it has been your body of work in our forum that led Tromadz to his conclusion. Veteran posters don't have the luxury of saying things sentence by sentence like new posters do, and have everything mean just what the sentence says.
Let's take a linebacker then too. What we really need is a backup quarterback, but I'll let McCarthey pick that. For the rest of the draft, I really don't have much to comment on. We already have restocked cupboards, so this weekend is basically about creating a lot of competition in training...
A logical person would have realized that Harrell was drafted to replace Corey Williams but then along came a Jolly man. That's why TT is so misunderstood, he's able to think a year ahead of the simpletons.
What I don't understand is Viking fans making fun of anyone's quarterback situation. When I think of great quarterback competition I don't come up with Jackson, Frerrotte, and Bollinger. In fact I don't think Bollinger should even play Canadian football.
