Gotta Keep Boyle on the 53. If he is waived, someone will pick him up. They tried that last year with Taysom Hill. One thing they might try is to keep him on the 53 to start the season. Then after week 2, try to sneak him through waivers when Jones gets activated and then Boyle to the PS.

I don't think he'll be cut, not with just 2 games left. (Not saying he shouldn't be, just don't think he will be). However, he should have some serious competition come next training camp.
