I think this makes sense too. Teams have to get used to playing us without him. When he comes back, he'll add another dimension that teams will again have to readjust to when playing us, potentially giving us an advantage. I hate to see him out for so long, but I think there are ways to turn...
Does anyone have a link to a feed of the Tuesdays With Aaron podcast, so I can add it to my podcast app?
*Edit:
I couldn't get the link in the op to work, but I did find this one.
I really do appreciate your post, it was great! I've never been in the position where I was mad at the hawks over this - you can't blame them for the terrible officiating.
That being said, you keep saying you don't want to debate the call, but you've laid out your position on it twice now...
Any time! I'm not exactly mad at the Seahawks for the win. I mean, really it's not their fault the officiating was so poor, but I don't condone their behavior after the fact. It's a shame the game had to end like it did. I feel pretty confident saying it would've been a much better, more...
I think it's hard to say he has control, because having control assume's some ability to manipulate the ball, whether it's pulling it in to your chest or yanking it out of the hands of an opponent, neither of which Tate had the ability to do.
I also think this is all a moot point, since the...
I think it's been said now that simply having a hand on the ball does not constitute control. Tate has no control of the football whatsoever, which is obvious by his inability to pull the ball into his chest like Jennings did, because Jennings actually had control.
If you look closely at that gif, you will see that Jennings gets both hands on the ball first and maintains both hands on the ball all the way down, having so much control that he can even pull the ball into his chest before he hits the ground! Tate gets one hand on it only after Jennings has...
Fortunately that only applies to complaints by clubs, which isn't necessary because all you have to do is look at the replay footage to see the botched call.
My biggest concern is not so much that they aren't putting 45 points on the board each game, it's that they lack that... crispness they had last year before their loss to KC. The receivers are dropping passes left and right, they aren't finishing their routes, and overall they are having a hard...
The defense has the potential to be amazing! I hesitate to say they've turned a corner until they can pull similar numbers in subsequent, sequential games.
The offense looked stiff. Drops all over the place, receivers not finishing routes, still too many turnovers. Benson seems to be...
