Rep Power: 16 | | 2009 Draft - Round 6, Pick 14, Overall Pick 187 - Brandon Underwood Packers picked Brandon Underwood for their seventh pick in the draft. DISCUSS! Brandon Underwood (CB)

College: Cincinnati
Conference: Big East
Hometown: Hamilton, OH
High School: Hamilton Combine Results:
40 Yard Dash: 4.48 seconds
Bench Press: 16.0 reps
Vertical Jump: 36.5 inches
Broad Jump: 125.0 inches
3 Cone Drill: 7.01 seconds
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.21 seconds Quote: Pick Analysis:
Underwood was extremely productive and can play both safety and cornerback. He's probably more of a safety at the NFL level, but he can play some corner and gives the Packers some secondary depth. Overview:
The 2008 first-team All-Big East free safety showed nice versatility playing cornerback after senior star Mike Mickens went down with a knee injury. Underwood played only sparingly in three years (including a redshirt season) at Ohio State, then had his scholarship revoked due to missed meetings and academic issues. But in his only year playing for the Bearcats, Underwood proved to be a playmaker, recording 60 tackles, including 3.5 for loss, three interceptions, six pass deflections and two forced fumbles. His brother, E.J., played briefly in the NFL after playing at Ohio State and Pikeville College. High School:
Finished his senior year with 60 tackles ... Had 50 stops, 15 passes broken up and three interceptions as a junior ... Ranked as the 13th-best prospect in the state by The Ohio Football Recruiting News ... Rivals.com ranked him as the 16th-best cornerback prospect in the nation and the 13th best overall prospect in Ohio ... TheInsiders.com ranked him as the nation's 14th-best cornerback prospect ... Also played wide receiver on offense ... Ran track in high school and was one of the top sprinters in the state, qualifying for the state meet.

Rep Power: 13 | | Heres another pick im excited about. Ohio State loved this kid and coming from a big school like that, that means alot. He was a later round pick because he only had 1 year of playing time under his belt and I think Underwood could be a very good player for the pack. |

This guy can learn a lot in training camp just to watch Charles Woodson. He has the physical tools to excel on our bump-and-run.

Rep Power: 11 | | Are you kidding? Harris and Woodson are really old in NFL terms and this seems like a steal. I definitely like the pick. |
